1. By registering for, attending, or participating in the International Student Research & Innovation Fair (ISRIF) in any capacity — including but not limited to participants, presenters, parents, guardians, mentors, judges, volunteers, guests, and spectators — you acknowledge that participation is entirely voluntary and that you assume full responsibility for all risks associated with attendance, travel, and participation.
2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ISRIF, its organizing committee, host institutions, sponsors, partners, affiliates, volunteers, judges, venue providers, and their respective officers, employees, and agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, theft, damage to personal property, travel disruption, technical failure, cancellation, or any other claim of any nature arising from or in connection with attendance at or participation in the event, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.
3. All attendees are solely responsible for their own safety, supervision, transportation, medical needs, and personal belongings at all times during the event. Participants under 18 years of age must have documented parent or guardian consent prior to registration. By submitting a registration, the participant and their parent or guardian confirm that this consent has been obtained.
4. ISRIF reserves the right, without prior notice or liability, to modify, postpone, cancel, or substitute schedules, venues, programming, judges, speakers, award categories, rules, or any other aspect of the event as circumstances require. No refund or compensation shall be owed as a result of any such modification.
5. By attending or participating in ISRIF, you grant ISRIF and its authorized representatives irrevocable permission to photograph, record, livestream, and reproduce your image, likeness, voice, and presentation materials for educational, promotional, archival, and reporting purposes across any media, without compensation. Individuals who wish to opt out of photography or recording must submit a written request to the organizing committee no later than seven (7) days prior to the event.
