International Student Research & Innovation Fair (ISRIF Fair)
The International Student Research & Innovation Fair (ISRIF Fair) is hosted by the International Student Research and Innovation Foundation (ISRIF) . The fair is a global research event that provides high school students with the opportunity to present original scientific and engineering projects in a professional academic environment. Participants share their work through poster presentations, interact with experienced judges, and receive valuable feedback on their research.
ISRIF Fair builds upon the academic experience of the International Association of Biomedical Sciences (IABS), a nonprofit organization established in Los Angeles with a long history of organizing scientific forums and academic exchange activities. Drawing on this background in real research communities, ISRIF Fair introduces students to the practices of authentic academic research and scientific communication.
The fair welcomes projects across life sciences, physical sciences, environmental studies, engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, and student presentations, ISRIF Fair encourages curiosity, rigorous thinking, and the clear communication of new ideas. ISRIF Fair brings together a global community of young researchers and offers students an early opportunity to engage with the culture and standards of real scientific inquiry.
About ISRIF
The International Student Research and Innovation Foundation (ISRIF) is dedicated to supporting and advancing student-led research and innovation across the sciences and engineering. Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities for high school students to explore original ideas, develop research skills, and present their work in a setting that reflects real academic practice.
Through initiatives such as the International Student Research & Innovation Fair (ISRIF Fair), ISRIF provides a structured and supportive environment where students can engage with complex questions, receive feedback from experienced mentors and judges, and gain confidence in communicating their work.
Building on the academic foundation of the International Association of Biomedical Sciences (IABS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in Los Angeles in 2005, ISRIF expands this experience to a broader, interdisciplinary community. We are committed to making research more accessible, guided, and impactful for students at an early stage of their academic journey.
Mission
To support students in developing rigorous, independent research through opportunities for inquiry, mentorship, and professional presentation, while fostering a global community where student work is recognized, critically evaluated, and developed into meaningful contributions beyond the classroom.
